4 To obtain a clearer sound flamenco players use the flamenco tremolo or quatremolo, the thumb followed by 4 notes. Many of them really are masters of tremolo. With this tremolo eventually you gain more control of the sound.
5 You even can let the thumb be followed by 5 notes, quintremolo.
With a combination of tremolos it is possible to produce a (Latin) rhythms.
